Permacité ! La ville de mes rêves (2021) and Permavillage ! Le village de mes rêves (2022) are two collaborations between Fachri Maulana and architect-writer Olivier Dain Belmont. Permacité ! itself is an adaptation of an essay by the author on a vision of a utopian and ecological future city, based on real-world proven methods.

These books make a series of children’s ‘immersive documentaries’ on bioclimatic architecture and eco-friendly practices in a fictional city and village.

Permacité ! won the 2021 Environment Prize from the Veolia Foundation in the Children’s category, and has been translated to Korean and published in South Korea under Hello Robin Books
